COMPENSATION: $47 - $57 HOURLY Role Overview We are looking for a skilled and driven Quality Assurance Tech II to join our team. The ideal candidate will collaborate with Hardware Development Engineers and Test Engineers to support the integrity of the production environment. This role involves identifying use cases, designing and executing test cases, and delivering clear results throughout the development lifecycle.
The Quality Assurance Tech II is a central point of contact within the Hardware Test Engineering Team, providing critical support to ensure operations run smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
* Perform maintenance, repair, and calibration of test equipment and test fixtures.
* Set up and execute tests, experiments, and verification activities for system components.
* Conduct sway table proficiency testing across multiple pod configurations and design iterations to simulate lifespan and validate structural integrity.
* Perform daily observation, inspection, and strain gauge monitoring of pods under duress to identify hardware stress points.
* Create, execute, and maintain test cases, test plans, and test documentation.
* Collect, analyze, and deliver test data; author formal test reports.
* Provide structured test feedback to cross-functional teams to drive quality improvements.
* Partner with internal teams to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical and process issues.
* Support design and test engineers during prototype builds and development phases.
* Handle confidential information with a high level of professionalism, integrity, and discretion.
Required Qualifications

* Education:
** Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline.
*
* Experience:
** 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in electro-mechanical testing environments. Minimum 3 years of experience in hardware testing, validation, or reliability engineering.
** Technical
Skills:
** Proficiency in MATLAB, Python, Arduino, SOLIDWORKS, and Fusion 360. Strong electro-mechanical aptitude with proficiency in tools, measurement devices, and data acquisition systems. Demonstrated ability to independently execute complex test plans with minimal oversight.
