Boston Ski and Tennis in Westborough, Ma. is hiring a part-time tennis enthusiast teammate to drive exceptional customer service through our tennis services and our large selection of tennis goods for this upcoming season. We pride ourselves on being able to help our customers excel in all sports. A tennis enthusiast helps recommends everything from racquets to stringing style as well as assisting with apparel and footwear.
Our goal is to help our customers enhance their playing style. Join a fun team who sets the standard in the ski and tennis industry. Looking for professional individuals with excellent customer service and attention to detail who thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities Include:
Greeting and engaging with customers
Staying up to date on new tennis products and trends
Work at point of sale
Seek opportunities to elevate the customer experience and exceed expectations through creative and efficient problem-solving
Train and develop successful sales techniques
Merchandising of soft good products and adhering to the store cleanliness standards
Learning how to re string and re grip customer racquets (we will train)
Restocking merchandise and staying on top of inventory levels
Adhere to safety procedures regarding use of tools and equipment
Qualifications:
Strong customer service skill
Ability to string tennis racquets or willing to learn to string tennis racquets
Team player who works well in a collaborative environment and is eager to learn new skills from others
Strong multitasker capable of working in a high-energy, fast-paced retail setting
Passionate about creating an inviting atmosphere for customers and staff alike
General knowledge and passion for the tennis industry is preferred
Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
Regularly lift 50 pounds

Flexible schedule needed; shifts range from 9:00 am
-7:00pm. Must be available weekdays, weeknights, weekends, and holidays
