Responsibilities:

• Assist with all store functions and daily activities as directed by the Store Manager
• Perform opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager
• Help protect and secure store assets, including cash
• Follow all policies, procedures, and safety guidelines
• Maintain a professional and friendly environment for customers, staff, and supervisors
• Keep all store areas, including stockroom and sales floor, to company standards
• When the Store Manager is absent, oversee hourly Associates
• Process corporate directives and communicate related store activities
• Assist with receipt and return of DSD merchandise, following VIP and DSD policies
• Ensure proper staffing coverage and sales floor effectiveness daily
• Manage cashiering activities and ensure cash handling practices are followed
• Maintain promotional displays and manage seasonal areas
• Coordinate signage and merchandise replenishment
• Handle damaged merchandise daily
• Assist with weekly scheduling and manage store supplies and expenses
• Maintain checkout area to maximize impulse sales

Minimum Requirements:

• Prior retail and management experience preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to lift and transport up to 50 lbs
• Ability to work in a high-energy team environment
