The Facilities Associate role at OSJL upholds a positive customer experience by ensuring a clean, safe, and functional store environment. Responsibilities encompass comprehensive interior and exterior upkeep, adhering to all Company standards. The primary focus is maintaining the store’s condition to ensure the best environment for associates and guests through tasks including cleaning, vacuuming, sweeping, emptying trash cans, dusting shelves, cleaning windows, and mopping floors.

The Facilities Associate must clean and report hazards to the leader on duty. Exterior maintenance may be required depending on store lease specifications. This role may also support merchandising activities, such as stocking shelves, maintaining product displays, pricing, and customer service.

• Identify and correct maintenance and safety issues inside and outside the store, ensuring the well‑being of associates and customers.
• Sweep, mop, scrub, vacuum, and maintain floors, steps, and other surfaces.
• Empty waste containers and dispose of interior trash, litter, and debris.
• Check and maintain adequate bathroom, breakroom, and other supplies needed for normal building use.
• Keep approaches to buildings clear of debris, snow, and obstructions.
• Ensure all work areas, storage areas, and materials are safe, clean, and orderly, and that cleaning supplies are labeled and stored properly.
• Provide exceptional service to OSJL customers on the sales floor and at the point of sale.
• Assist with merchandising tasks, including stocking, displays, pricing, and operating a cash register as needed.
• Perform all duties with a focus on safeguarding Company property.
• Communicate any issues to store leadership promptly.

• Prior facilities experience is required.
• Experience in a retail environment or customer service is preferred.
• Basic math, reading, legible handwriting, and good verbal and written communication skills are preferred.
• Work primarily in a climate‑controlled environment with minimal safety/health hazards.
• Must be able to lift 35 lbs on a regular basis and perform frequent manual tasks.
