Job DescriptionWe re seeking a driven and detail-oriented Sales Executive who thrives in a fast-paced sales environment. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys cold outreach, consultative selling, and the technical precision of RFP responses. You ll work directly with HR, procurement, and IT stakeholders at public and private colleges, managing the full sales cycle from prospecting to close.
Key Responsibilities- Prospect and cold call HR and procurement leaders at U.S. colleges/universities
- Qualify leads and schedule discovery/demo meetings
- Conduct product demos tailored to each institution s needs
- Lead RFP/RFI response preparation, collaborating with internal teams (product, legal, tech, execs)
- Draft proposal documents and pricing exhibits
- Track and manage deals through CRM (Hub Spot or similar)
- Attend virtual and in-person industry events (e.g., CUPA-HR, SHRM) to support business development
- Help improve sales playbooks, pricing strategy, and demo content
3-5+ years of sales experience in SaaS, HR tech, or B2B (higher ed/government vertical a plus). Strong cold-calling and outbound outreach skills. Familiarity with higher ed procurement cycles and RFPs. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Self-starter who can balance multiple deals and proposals erience working with public sector contracting tools (e.g., Bonfire, Jaggaer, Bid Net) is a bonus. Boston-area candidates preferred (hybrid role with 3 days onsite)
