This position is ideal for individuals who are reliable, committed, and able to work any shift on short notice. Flex Officers maintain order, protect people and property, and sustain a strong security presence across diverse Metro West locations.

Job Responsibilities

As a Flex Security Officer, you will:

* Provide Coverage Across Client Sites:
Support security operations at various Metro West locations, often on short notice, ensuring all shifts are filled.

* Surveillance & Monitoring:
Observe and patrol premises to detect suspicious activity, safety hazards, or unauthorized access.

* Access Control:
Verify identification, issue guest passes, and maintain secure entry points.

* Emergency Response:
React quickly to alarms, medical emergencies, fire hazards, or security incidents and coordinate with emergency responders when necessary.

* Incident Reporting:
Write detailed, accurate incident reports documenting any security or safety concerns.

* Patrol Duties:
Conduct foot or vehicle patrols, inspecting entrances, perimeters, and high-traffic areas for irregularities.

* Customer Service:
Provide assistance, directions, and support to visitors and employees with a friendly and professional demeanor.

* Safety Inspections:
Identify and report potential hazards to maintain a safe environment.

* Conflict Resolution:
De-escalate minor conflicts and maintain calm, professional interactions.

* Team

Collaboration:

Coordinate with local site officers, supervisors, and emergency personnel to support consistent security operations.

* Strong observational skills and attention to detail.

* Calm, professional demeanor under pressure.

* Excellent communication skills.

* Integrity, reliability, and commitment to safety protocols.

* Intermediate computer proficiency.

Requirements

* At least 18 years old.

* Reliable transportation and communication.

* Must be willing and able to work all shifts - including days, evenings, overnights, weekends, and holidays.

* Authorized to work in the United States.

* Ability to read, write, and speak English effectively.

* High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
