Weekly pay!​E.L. Harvey & Sons has immediate opening for a  Facility Maintenance Technician to join our GROWING team at our site in Westborough, MA.

Schedule:

Monday - Friday 6:00am to 4:00pm 50 to 55 hours per week / Saturday's as needed.

Pay Rate: $27.00 per hour

As a Facility Maintenance Technician at our site your focus will be providing general building maintenance. Main duties involve responding to maintenance requests, performing general regular maintenance duties, and attending to virtually all parts of the building in question, including the flooring, ceiling, walls, and systems like HVAC, plumbing, and electrical wiring.

Job Responsibilities:

Responsible to assist with the operation troubleshooting, diagnostics, housekeeping, and repairs on commercial buildings, industrial systems, grounds, and maintenance equipment for assigned properties/facilities

Assist with troubleshooting and repairs of buildings and installed systems to include: packaging and handling machinery, plumbing systems, kitchen equipment, roofs, drains, shop, grounds equipment, and HVACClean, lubricate, and service a wide variety of pumps, valves, pneumatic controls, electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic devices

Replace and repair building finishes such as ceiling tiles, door hardware, wall paper, and can paint walls, piping, floors and equipment

Troubleshoot, evaluate, and make recommendations to upgrade maintenance operations and/or implement savings opportunities

Possess competent knowledge of the use and care of tools and equipment used in facility and ground maintenance

Inspect buildings, grounds, and equipment for unsafe or malfunctioning conditions, preventative maintenance.

Maintain and operate fire and life safety systems such as;
Fire alarm systems, fire pumps and related fire protection system equipment as assigned

What we need from you:

Previous facility, mechanical, or industrial maintenance experience preferred.

Ability to safely use hand tools and power tools.

Comfort working around heavy equipment and in an active industrial environment.

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in variable weather and environmental conditions.

Strong commitment to safety, teamwork, and communication.

Reliable attendance and willingness to learn and grow within the company.
