Millwright Helper - Industrial (SNE~MA~6652~~EXT~IDM4~CRAFT2~CBO1)

• Assist with installing machinery and equipment according to general arrangement layout plans, blueprints, specifications, and other drawings in an industrial environment.
• Help to dismantle and repair machinery and equipment using hammers, wrenches, crowbar, and other hand tools.
• Assist in moving machinery and equipment using winches, jacks, hoists, dollies, rollers, and trucks.
• Assist in assembling and installing machinery and equipment such as shafting, conveyors, pulpers, vats, agitators, tram rails, pumps, and motors using hand tools and power tools.
• Assist in constructing foundations for machines using hand tools and building materials, such as wood, cement, and steel.
• Sets base plates to line and level and installs grout beneath them.
• Assist with installing of couplings and bearings, both interference and slip-fit.

• Some experience in a construction environment is preferred.
• Must have some understanding or experience with blueprints and schematic drawings to determine work procedures.
• Must have some experience or knowledge of using hand tools, power tools, hoists, jacks, squares, rules, scales,laser alignment machines, optical levels, and plumb bobs.
• Must have some experience in using precision tools such as inside & outside micrometers, calipers, and dial indicators.
• Good trouble shooting skills.

Compensation is determined based on factors such as experience, knowledge, qualifications, and performance. The compensation range for this position is $16.00 - $26.00 and is exclusive of any other benefit and/or bonus. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical to allow for future and continued growth.
