This is a field-based role focused on servicing, troubleshooting, and maintaining commercial and light industrial HVAC systems across a diverse client base.

OverviewA well-established, privately held mechanical services firm is seeking an experienced Licensed HVAC Service Technician to join its growing team. This is a field-based role focused on servicing, troubleshooting, and maintaining commercial and light industrial HVAC systems across a diverse client base.
Key Responsibilities- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair commercial HVAC systems (RTUs, chillers, boilers, VRF/VRV, split systems, etc.)
- Perform preventative maintenance and system inspections to ensure optimal performance
- Respond to service calls and effectively communicate findings with clients
- Complete work orders, service reports, and documentation accurately and in a timely manner
- Coordinate with dispatch and service management to prioritize and complete workload
- Mentor junior technicians as needed and support team development
- Ensure safety compliance and adherence to company and industry standards
- Valid Massachusetts Refrigeration License (required)
- 4+ years of experience in commercial HVAC service
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills across a range of systems
- Experience working independently in the field
- EPA Certification (required)
- Strong customer communication and professionalism
- Clean driving record
