You’ll monitor and maintain control of general ledger accounts, prepare journal entries, detailed reports, financial statements, and analyses that reflect financial status and activities.
You’ll also help ensure the timely and accurate processing of account reconciliations, billings, disbursement requests, and account analyses. Depending on the needs of the team, you may also have the opportunity to assist with training or supervising staff accounting personnel.

Summary:
The Senior Accountant role applies principles of accounting and statistical analysis in order to maintain control and accountability in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles. Monitors and maintains control of various general ledger accounts, prepares journal entries and detailed reports, prepares financial statements and analyses reflecting financial status and activities. May assist in training or supervising staff accounting personnel. Ensures timely accurate processing of account reconciliations, billings, disbursement requests and analyses of accounts in this area.
Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
- Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred. - License/
Certifications:
CPA, CIA or CMA designation preferred. - Experience:
Minimum of three years of related experience. - Additional Skills/Requirements

The pay range for this position is $66,123.20to $89,481.60per year.
Compensation for part-time positions isdeterminedon a prorated basis consistent with the scheduled hours and applicable full-time equivalent (FTE).
