Binnie Media is hiring a Office/Sales Assistant to join us in our Westbrook, Maine office.

Binnie Media is New England’s largest locally owned media company that reaches 1.5 million people each week across our 16 radio stations, digital and outdoor/billboard products. Our team strives to achieve long-term relationships with our clients that are mutually beneficial, cost effective, and successful! That’s where you come in. We are looking for the right person to join our sales support team.

This is a busy position with a wide variety of duties, so no two days are the same!

Responsibilities
  • Greet visitors at our Westbrook office
  • Answer and route incoming phone calls
  • Order office & kitchen supplies and keep supplies orderly
  • Ensure common areas are kept tidy
  • Assist sales team – enter orders, provide invoices and statements copies, and run weekly reports and other tasks as requested
  • Compile twice-weekly sales report
  • Assist the accounting department with various tasks
  • Assist promotions department with various tasks

Qualifications
  • Proficiency in data entry with a keen eye for detail.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with clients, vendors, listeners and coworkers at all levels of the company.
  • Familiarity with computer systems and software applications relevant to office management.
  • Previous experience in a sales or administrative role is preferred but not mandatory.
