The Senior Operational Transformation Specialist leads strategic improvement initiatives across the organization by aligning operational excellence with systemwide goals and priorities. This role drives process improvement, team development, change facilitation, and the implementation of performance-driven initiatives through scientific methodologies and cross-functional collaboration. Additionally, the Specialist II through Operational Transformation deployment builds relationship with leaders at all levels of the region, including clinicians, front line care teams and other stakeholders to assess and enhance systems to produce optimal organizational process outcomes.
This role supports the planning, execution and monitoring of processes and systems tied to the Maine Health Strategic Plan Scorecard and overall Strategic Plan.
Certifications:
PMP Certificate Preferred
Minimum of five years' experience of leadership and healthcare experience in the performance improvement space, process and /or program leadership preferred.
Note: 5 years of experience as a Specialist I within the department) will be considered in lieu of a Bachelor's degree with the candidate's commitment to complete a Bachelors degree within 3 years of hiring.
Required:
Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification, with a commitment to acquire a black belt certification within 3 years. Lean Sigma Black Belt preferred.

The pay range for this position is $77,147.20to $per year.
Compensation for part‑time positions isdeterminedon a prorated basis consistent with the scheduled hours and applicable full‑time equivalent (FTE).
