As the leading New England Environmental Specialty & Demolition Contractor with over 35 years of experience, Enviro Vantage is recognized as the trusted authority for commercial, industrial, government and residential projects across New England and the Mid‑Atlantic. We are looking to add a qualified Asbestos Supervisor to our team as we continue to grow.
The Asbestos Supervisor will be responsible for the direct oversight and management of staff and subcontractors working on diverse environmental construction projects. Openings are available in demolition, restoration, earthwork and storm water. The role may also require hands‑on site work to ensure projects are completed on time and efficiently.
Essential Functions- Supervise and direct field crews and subcontractors
- Coordinate onsite work
- Ensure the job is completed safely and efficiently
- Implement project‑specific work plans
- Manage crew labor and equipment time to achieve maximum productivity and meet budgets
- Interface and communicate with clients in a professional manner
- Oversee delivery and off‑loading of supplies and materials
- Complete daily field reports
- Minimum of 1 year experience as an Asbestos, Demolition or Construction Supervisor
- Minimum of 2 years related field experience with construction and management
- Ability to read blueprints and drawings
- OSHA 10 and HAZWOPER 40 required (certifications to be obtained within 30 days of hire if not current)
- 40‑hour Asbestos Supervisor certification required
- Ability to manage budgets and schedules (preferred)
- Operate and maintain heavy equipment (preferred)
- Torch cutting and rigging experience (preferred)
- High School Diploma, GED, or vocational schooling (preferred)
- Perform tasks involving bending, lifting, walking, carrying, and using force equal to lifting 50‑100 pounds
- Pass a physical examination by a medical professional for anticipated work requirements
- Pass a background check and obtain access to military bases across the United States
- Hold a valid driver’s license and maintain a safe driving record
