About The PositionAs a kindergarten teacher, the final candidate will work closely with teaching peers, special educators, specialists, and administration to ensure academic and social-emotional success for ALL students. Knowledge of PBIS, Responsive Classroom, and trauma-informed practices as well as a strong background in early literacy and language development is preferred. Prior experience with multilingual populations is also desirable. Ideal candidates will be collaborative, compassionate, driven, and fun!
AboutThe School
Saccarappa Elementary is a K-4 school with approximately 400 learners and 80 dedicated staff members. In addition to literacy and numeracy, our curriculum includes classes in art, music, STEAM, physical education, and library. Technology resources and skills are integrated across the curriculum and in all school settings. Our Title I school is proud of its knowledgeable and compassionate Multilingual, Special Education, MTSS, and Gifted and Talented programs.
