Science Teacher Position

The Westbrook School Department is seeking a half-time Science Teacher at Westbrook High School for the school year . Westbrook High School is seeking a creative, engaging and energetic Physical Science teacher to join our science department for the  school year. This is a half-time position. Courses will include Earth Science and Chemistry. The successful candidate will have a Maine D.O.E 350 (Physical Science) certification.

The ideal candidate will have experience as a 9-12 science teacher preferred, strong content knowledge, willingness to collaborate and share best practices with colleagues, and skilled at working with all students.

This allows us to prepare students for a more individualized course of study during their junior and senior years.

Westbrook High School offers a STEM endorsed diploma and a Visual & Performing Arts endorsed diploma. We also offer programming to prepare students for Westbrook Regional Technical Center and PATHS. Finally, we are proud to prepare students for the Seal of Bi-Literacy through our Multilingual Learner programming and our Modern and Classical Language courses.
