Dean of Students
Belfast Area High School is looking for a dynamic educator who will work closely with administration and staff to support student development, school culture, and the overall learning experience.
Responsibilities- Oversee student discipline
- Manage 504 accommodations
- Improve student attendance
- Ensure safety of staff and students
- Support athletics and extracurricular clubs
- Assist with Extended Learning Opportunities (ELOs)
- Facilitate successful transition from middle school to high school and from high school to post‑secondary opportunities
- Knowledge of School Law or the ability to learn it
- Flexible schedule to provide quality supervision and support
- Certification as an assistant principal or higher encouraged but not required
