Grade 7 Social Studies Teacher
Westbrook Middle School is seeking a Grade 7 Social Studies Teacher for the school year. The ideal candidate is an energetic, knowledgeable, and positive, committed to equity and opportunity, and dedicated to teaching early adolescents the middle level Social Studies standards and guiding principles according to the State of Maine Learning Results. The teacher who joins us will be a part of a four person, interdisciplinary team with a grade level teaching partner from another team.
Our educators are skilled at creating, revising and assessing content, concepts, and skills in history, geography, and current events. Our 5-8 Social Studies professional learning team is looking for a teacher who brings a love for teaching and learning Social Studies to the classroom. Maine State Department of Education teacher certification (200) endorsement preferred.
