Educational Technician III – Special Education Programs

The Westbrook School Department is seeking a full‑time educational technician to support students with varying academic, social, and emotional needs in grades K‑4 within special and general education settings.

• Assist in implementing individualized education plans for students with special needs.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, specialists, and families to provide inclusive instructional support.
• Provide support services in the classroom, and with athletic and extracurricular activities.
• Help with behavior management and social‑emotional learning strategies.
• Maintain accurate student records and progress monitoring reports.

• Maine State Educational Technician III Certification (023 or 025).
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience working with students in K‑4 and special education settings preferred.
