Designated Building Substitute

Come join the Canal Coyote Family! Canal's student centered and dedicated staff is looking for a Designated Building Sub, (a  Bench Sub ) for the 26-27 school year.

A Designated Building Sub is a person who works every day to fill any open positions or provide extra support where needed. The selected candidate may work at any grade-level PreK-4th, any subject, and/or recess and lunch duties to help support staff and students. The candidate is someone who can work a consistent schedule over the course of the school year.

We are looking for a versatile individual who works collaboratively and can build positive relationships with our students.

As a small neighborhood school, Canal believes in working collaboratively with families and the community to support all our students. Strong relationships within our school community and with community partnerships enable us to foster academic growth while supporting social, emotional, and basic needs. We customize our instructional practices to best support our population through the inclusion of Title 1, Multilingual, Special Education, Gifted and Talented, and counseling services in our family atmosphere.

Pay is dependent on experience, education, and certification as well as number of days worked as a substitute. The range of pay is $110/day to $286.30.
