For a limited time Maine Health is offering a $20,000.00 sign on bonus for Respiratory Therapists

Eligible candidates are hired into a Full or Part-time position. Bonus amount prorated for Part-time hires, per diem hires are ineligible. Current Maine Health member employees are ineligible; former Maine Health Members are ineligible until greater than 6 months separation from employment.

Summary:

The Respiratory Therapist IIroleprovides independent,high qualityrespiratorycareacross a variety of clinical settings and patient populations.

Independently applies clinicalknowledgein most practice settings and candemonstrateclinical reasoning and decision-making.

Able to assess patients,developandadjustrespiratory care plans, and managecomplexpatientneedswithinestablished standards and protocols.

Knowledge

Skills And Abilities:

  • Education:

    Graduate of aCo-ARC approved school of Respiratory Therapy required.
  • License/Certifications :
    Current applicable state(s) license in Respiratory Ca rerequired. RRT certification required. Must have RRT certification to advance toa LevelII. Current BLS Certificationrequiredwithin
    30 daysof startdate.

    Current ACLS,PALS and NRPcertificationsasrequiredby facility,or must obtain within one year of start date
  • Experience:

    Minimum of one year of Respiratory Therapy experience required.

The pay range for this position is $37.09 to $50.17 per hour.

Compensation for part-time positions isdeterminedon a prorated basis consistent with the scheduled hours and applicable full-time equivalent (FTE).
