  • Help attract private parties, birthdays, company gatherings, fundraisers, and other group events

  • Build relationships with local businesses, organizations, performers, and community groups

  • Promote events through social media, community pages, in-house advertising, and local partnerships

  • Track attendance, sales, expenses, and results to determine which events should be repeated or improved

  • Bring new ideas and growth opportunities to the owner regularly

Lead the Bar Team
  • Manage approximately two to three bartenders

  • Train, coach, schedule, and support employees

  • Delegate opening, closing, cleaning, stocking, and event responsibilities

  • Set clear expectations and hold the team accountable

  • Handle customer or employee concerns when necessary

Manage Daily Operations

  • Monitor inventory, product levels, waste, and organization

  • Keep the bar clean, stocked, and ready for customers

  • Handle opening, closing, cash-handling, and routine operating responsibilities

  • Follow all alcohol-service, safety, and company policies

  • Communicate with the owner about staffing, inventory, sales, events, and business needs

  • Work independently and confidently operate the bar alone when scheduled

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is:

  • Creative, outgoing, organized, and dependable

  • A self-starter who can turn an idea into a successful event

  • Comfortable leading, delegating, training, and holding employees accountable

  • Confident working independently without constant supervision

  • Experienced in bartending, hospitality management, event coordination, promotions, or a related field

  • Comfortable communicating with customers, performers, vendors, and community organizations

  • Familiar with social media and event promotion

  • Able to manage multiple responsibilities while maintaining excellent customer service

  • Available to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events

Previous management experience is preferred. We will also consider an experienced bartender or hospitality professional who is ready to take on a leadership role and can demonstrate strong organization, creativity, and follow-through.

Compensation and Earning Potential
  • Starting base pay: $20 per hour

  • Eligible for tips when actively working as a bartender and directly serving guests

  • Potential to earn $40+ per hour on busy bartending shifts when base pay and eligible tips are combined

  • Actual tip earnings vary based on business volume, customer traffic, and hours worked; the $40+ figure is potential, not guaranteed

  • Performance-based bonus potential tied to successful events, private bookings, promotions, and measurable business growth

  • Overtime paid for hours worked over 40, in accordance with applicable law

  • Full-time position, generally approximately 40–50 hours per week depending on business and event needs

  • One week of paid vacation available after 90 days

  • Typically two scheduled days off each week
