Data Analyst

Description

Provide database and analytical support for multiple initiatives, projects, and programs. Perform data analyses using appropriate statistical methods and graphical display standards. Retrieve and analyze data and present reports to management for use in supporting operations and business objectives. Provide recommendations for improvement and written documentation that relates to the analysis of the data. Develop in-depth knowledge of customer information systems, and provide training and support to users.

Design, implement, and deliver reports, exception reports, measurements, and analyses to support customer-focused, data-driven analysis. Perform data analyses using appropriate statistical methods and graphical display standards. Retrieve and analyze data and present reports to management for use in supporting operations and business objectives. Analyze, summarize and present information and data for discussion and decision making.

Provide recommendations for improvement and written documentation that relates to the analysis of the data. Research data anomalies and issues. Work with data source systems and target systems to identify data issues and data gaps. May track status and develop/update data source systems and target systems. Identify and recommend solutions as needed.

Experience with Databricks and/or Snowflake. Some knowledge of machine learning would be beneficial but not required.

This is a Contract position based out of Westbrook, ME.

The pay range for this position is $42.00 - $42.00/hr individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. This is a hybrid position in Westbrook,ME.
