ResponsibilitiesUnder the direction of a licensed nurse, the CMA administers medications and medicated creams within the standards of practice as permitted by their certification and state regulations.
Springbrook offers CMAs a stable, well‑structured environment supporting both rehabilitation and long‑term care residents. In this role, you’ll follow consistent medication routines, work alongside a collaborative nursing team, and play a key part in ensuring safe, accurate care. Position highlights include:
- Prepare and administer routine and PRN medications to patients as prescribed by the physician and document administration per policy.
- Maintain medication supply, clean and restock medicine carts and medicine room.
- Notify pharmacy of new medication orders and refills.
- Perform accurate vital sign monitoring when indicated by drug therapy.
- Successful completion of a state‑approved medication aide training course.
- Completion of a state‑approved certified nursing assistant training program.
- Must be a Certified Nursing Assistant with one year of experience as a CNA.
- Must be able to read, write, speak and understand the English language to ensure the safety and well‑being of patients and visitors.
Base pay: $23.50‑$27.00 per hour PLUS shift differential pay up to $4.50 per hour depending on shift.
Published salary range: $23.50 - $34.45 per hour.
