Lead Provider Opportunity In Urgent Care
We are seeking an experienced Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our urgent care team as a Lead Provider in Westbrook, Maine. This is an exciting opportunity for a clinically strong provider who enjoys fast-paced urgent care and is ready to take on a leadership role supporting providers and clinical staff.
As Lead Provider, you will deliver exceptional patient care while serving as the clinical leader for the practice, helping establish a culture of teamwork, clinical excellence, and continuous professional development.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients across the urgent care spectrum
- Provide evidence-based treatment for acute illnesses, injuries, and common medical conditions
- Serve as the clinical leader for all clinical staff
- Mentor, coach, and support new-graduate FNPs and PAs
- Provide clinical guidance and serve as a resource for experienced providers and allied healthcare professionals
- Promote consistent clinical standards, quality, and patient safety
- Support onboarding, education, and ongoing professional development
- Collaborate with physicians, APPs, nurses, medical assistants, and other members of the care team
- Help foster an efficient, patient-focused urgent care environment
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $135,000–$290,000
- Sign-on bonus

Qualifications
- Current Family NP or PA certification and state licensure
- Strong clinical experience in urgent care, family medicine, emergency medicine, or a related setting
- Previous leadership, mentorship, or precepting experience strongly preferred
- Excellent clinical judgment and communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to mentor and develop early-career providers
