Monday-Friday - 1pm-9pm will start at 10a-6pm

We have an immediate opening for a 2 nd  Shift QA Technician to join our client's growing team in Westbrook! This is an exciting chance to work for a

** Typical daily duties:*
* + Perform sensory and analytical testing on ingredients and product samples; record and analyze results

+ Conduct audits to ensure compliance with food safety, GMP, SQF, and other quality standards

+ Manage daily product controls and sample retention systems

+ Support production with product holds and releases

+ Complete administrative tasks such as data entry (Excel/TGI), equipment calibration, label verification, and organizing samples for external testing

+ Follow GMP, GFSI, and HACCP protocols in all daily activities

* What we're looking for:

*
* + Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Chemistry preferred

+ 1-3 years of food industry experience in QA, Operations, food safety and food science preferred

+ Knowledge of food manufacturing, QA systems, HACCP, SQF, sanitation, allergens, label laws, and GMPs strongly preferred

+ Strong analytical, problem‑solving, communication, organization, and computer skills

+ Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook

+ Ability to multitask, stay detail‑oriented, and thrive in a fast‑paced environment
