For more than 60 years, CU Insurance Solutions has been a premier provider of insurance products for credit unions throughout Maine and New England. We are a small team of 14 professionals dedicated to providing competitive insurance coverage options for credit unions, their employees, and their members.

As Training Specialist, your role would be to develop, facilitate, and conduct training for our credit union clients, especially for loan protection programs. In turn, our credit unions utilize this vital training to educate their membership about programs that provide crucial financial protection for credit union members and their families. Your role would also include collaborating with our team to deliver training and education in a wide variety of formats (face-to-face, small & large groups, video, webinars, social media, etc.)

and working with our vendor partners on a regular basis.

This is a hybrid position headquartered in Westbrook, Maine, and will require extensive solo car travel: approximately 2-3 days/week with 3-4 overnights/month in Maine as well as in greater New England (MA, NH, VT, CT); occasional evening hours are required for networking events and relationship building opportunities (mostly in the summer months but divided amongst all external staff). Non-travel days can be worked remotely from home or in our office outside of any required in-person meetings.

Including travel time, an average week may be 40-50 hours.

• High school graduate with proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Valid driver’s license
• Credit union industry, training/education, or auto industry background is strongly preferred

This role with CU Insurance Solutions () offers competitive pay ($60,000-$64,000 plus incentive plan) and a comprehensive benefits package that includes 100% employer-paid medical premium and a generous paid vacation and holiday schedule. Business laptop and cell phone are provided.
