Vaccines Specialist, Health and Science Professional - Bangor, ME
Pfizer is seeking a Vaccines Health and Science Professional (HSP) to promote an evolving Vaccines Portfolio across customers and channels within the assigned geography. The HSP will drive product launches, secure formulary access, and maintain relationships with customers, including Key Opinion Leaders.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES- Drive sales in assigned territory to maximize approved business objectives.
- Engage customers both face‑to‑face and virtually.
- Develop and implement effective business and territory call plans and live/virtual engagement strategies.
- Build rapport and relationships with customers, using digital tools for continuous engagement.
- Use internal reports and analytics to identify strategic business opportunities.
- Leverage product and disease‑state knowledge and approved clinical information to support customer decisions.
- Demonstrate market knowledge and uncover barriers and drivers across public health, private market, and retail channels.
- Collaborate compliantly with cross‑functional colleagues to address customer inquiries and advance Pfizer objectives.
- Complete all administrative expectations on time and compliantly.
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent educational experience.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in professional sales or promotional activity, or equivalent experience.
- Experience in small business ownership, marketing, customer service, or account management.
- Full‑time military experience is preferred.
- Must live within 25 miles of the territory border.
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and clean driving record.
- At least 1 year of pharmaceutical, biotech, medical sales, or related marketing experience.
- Strong track record of sales or marketing success, territory management, and teamwork.
- Experience with the Vaccines therapeutic area and products.
- Knowledge of the appointed territory’s customers and markets.
- Residence within the territory boundaries.
- Annual base salary range $76,000 – $199,600.
- Quarterly sales incentive bonus.
