What You Will Do

Promote and sell service agreements for commercial building systems products including fire alarm, suppression, sprinkler, security, sound, communication, and inspections. Determine customer needs, develop sales strategies, close sales to meet objectives, develop relationships, maintain proposal backlog, and conduct building surveys.

How You Will Do It
  • Establish contact with prospects and qualify potential buyers of service contracts
  • Determine customer needs and develop a sales strategy
  • Close sales to meet sales plan objectives
  • Develop and maintain an active proposal backlog to support the sales plan
  • Conduct building surveys to support estimates
  • Maintain correct and complete records of all sales activities
  • Submit all required sales reports, expenses, competitive activity, and correspondence accurately and timely
  • Develop a positive ongoing relationship with customers to ensure long-term loyalty
  • Support the service department to generate leads for upgrades.
Required
  • Degree or equivalent work experience (5 years)
  • Three (3) years minimum B2B track record of sales experience
  • Experience selling service or intangible or technical product
  • Hunter mentality, experience prospecting, qualifying, solution selling and closing deals
  • Ability to work in a matrix environment with minimal supervision where performance is measured by meeting quota numbers
  • Professional communication, organizational, and time management skills is a must have
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
Preferred
  • BA degree in a technical or business discipline preferred
  • Three (3) years minimum B2B track record of sales experience
  • Industry or related industry experience
  • Salesforce competency
Compensation

Salary Range: $50,000–$66,000. Salary is determined by education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, internal equity, and market data. This role also offers a competitive sales incentive plan based on volume and margin on a project, quarterly, and annual basis. The posted salary range reflects the target compensation for this role, but exceptional candidates may bring unique skills that exceed the typical profile.
