Account Manager

We are seeking a highly capable individual to utilize solution selling, territory management, and business planning capabilities to execute our strategies and maximize sales performance within the assigned geography.

• Meeting overall sales objectives (quota) and key growth products through demand generation.
• Successfully launching new products, services, and generating new equipment leads.
• Consistently demonstrating solution‑selling capabilities and building relevant technical knowledge.
• Building effective relationships with targeted hospitals and personnel to maintain and grow relevance.
• Interacting with customers following all Zoetis promotional guidelines.
• Developing and executing a Territory Business Plan/Resource Allocation and fully implementing Zoetis resources to maximize ROI.
• Meeting field activity expectations, including sales call activity and investment in medical education programs.
• Developing and executing a call-cycle at the account and veterinarian level that delivers our reach/frequency expectations.
• Working collaboratively with all Zoetis Petcare colleagues, maintaining integrity, compliance, and effective communication.

• Undergraduate degree (BS/BA) required.
• 3-10 years of consultative sales experience, with proven ability to creatively find opportunities or solve problems to drive sales performance.
• Experience in animal health and knowledge of small animal veterinary medicine.
• Strong verbal, written, presentation, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and ability to learn Zoetis systems.
• Ability to exercise good judgment and make thoughtful/fair decisions.
• Ability to manage assigned expense budgets.
• Highly focused, results‑oriented, self‑starter with ability to work independently and in a team.
• Willingness to accept and incorporate feedback.
• Physical ability and willingness to travel and work evenings as required.
