East Coast Communications has a long-standing reputation for providing quality service to the Telecommunications industry throughout New England and the Eastern United States. We’re looking for self‑motivated, safety‑conscious individuals with the ability to take direction. Candidates must be willing to travel.

Civil Techs must be able to follow strict risk management guidelines while ensuring quality work in a fast‑paced environment. Jobs will include turn‑key tower sites and tower modifications.

• Properly follows all safety procedures and policies.
• Complete various job duties safely and efficiently with confidence and little to no supervision.
• Safely and properly use hand tools and mechanical equipment.
• Identify and report any safety hazards to the foreman or lead technician.
• Perform general construction of tower sites to include, but not limited to site layout, erection, installation, and maintenance, and repair in accordance with specific job orders.
• Maintain a clean, safe and orderly working environment.
• Pick up and deliver supplies, tools, equipment components, etc. to job sites and service center warehouses.
• Follow directions given either by the foreman, lead or management.
• Obtain tools within 90 days of employment.
• Communicate and represent East Coast Communications in a respectable manner, whether with the public, with co‑workers, vendors, etc.

• Basic knowledge and use of hand tools and mechanical equipment.
• Experience in the tower industry is preferred but general construction and other related experience is acceptable.
• Ability to recognize safety hazards.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. Class A Drivers Needed (+)
• Able to travel out of town on a limited basis as needed.
• Able to meet physical requirements such as standing, bending, and lifting for the duration of shift.
• Must be able to pass a background check.
• Must be able to pass a pre‑employment drug test and physical.

• 90% of work is outdoors and year‑round and occasionally in extreme weather conditions.
• Ability to hear, understand and respond appropriately to verbal requests.
• Clear visual ability, with or without correction.
• Ability to reach and stretch repetitively.
• Ability to walk, stand and bend for long periods of time.
