Concrete/Skilled Laborer - Mason Helper

Join our team working on concrete and masonry restoration projects throughout the area. This is a hands-on role where you'll be out in the field every day, supporting experienced crews on a variety of commercial and industrial jobsites.

You'll assist with demo, concrete repair, mixing and placing materials, and general site work. If you're someone who's comfortable working with your hands, showing up ready to work, and learning from skilled tradespeople, this is a great opportunity to build experience and grow in the trade.

Responsibilities

• Assist with mixing, pouring, and placing concrete for various restoration projects.
• Support masons by handling, lifting, and transporting materials such as concrete, brick, and masonry supplies.
• Perform concrete patching and repair work as directed by supervisors or skilled tradespeople.
• Carry out general construction labor duties to support ongoing project activities.
• Set up and prepare work sites, including staging materials, tools, and equipment.
• Perform ongoing cleanup and debris removal to keep the jobsite clear and safe.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area in compliance with site safety guidelines.
• Use basic power tools and hand tools safely as required for concrete and masonry tasks.
• Assist with tasks related to rebar placement, concrete forms, and basic carpentry as needed.

Essential Skills

• Previous construction experience, preferably in heavy construction settings.
• Experience performing general labor tasks in a construction environment.
• Ability to assist with concrete work, including mixing, pouring, placing, and basic finishing.
• Ability to support masonry work such as brick laying and brick masonry under supervision.
• Familiarity with rebar, concrete forms, and basic carpentry tasks.

Job Type & Location

This is a permanent position based out of Westbrook, ME.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $27.00/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
