Overview

Special Delivery Driver. Base rate is $26.00. Earn up to $31+ with incentive. 4 and 5 workday schedules available. Sysco has immediate job openings for dependable Class C Special Delivery Truck Drivers to safely and efficiently operate a truck and manually unload/deliver various products (meats, produce, frozen foods, groceries, dry goods, supplies) to customer locations on an assigned route schedule. Our drivers build relationships with each customer and become familiar with their operations to meet needs and expectations by providing a positive, friendly attitude.

This position does not require a Class A or B commercial driver’s license, but individuals who hold one may be required on an as-needed basis to operate a tractor-trailer and must meet all DOT driver qualification requirements.

• Safely operate a Class C delivery truck and manually unload/deliver products to customer locations on an assigned route.
• Build positive working relationships with customers and understand their operations to meet needs and expectations.

• 21+ years of age.
• Must submit to a pre-employment drug screen.
• Ability to read and speak English sufficiently to converse with the general public, understand highway traffic signs and signals, respond to official inquiries, and make entries on reports and records.

• Class C/Standard Operator Driver License.

• Touch freight – may need to lift, push or move product weighing an average of 40-60 pounds and as much as 100 pounds.
