ITNPortland, a nonprofit providing rides to adults 65+ or with a disability is looking for a part-time Rides Coordinator/Driver. We are looking for a patient, computer proficient, reliable person for this Thursday-Saturday schedule, hybrid role that requires answering calls, scheduling rides, coordinating with drivers, and delivering rides when no other driver is available.
Responsibilities- Develop and manage daily schedules for drivers, ensuring timely pickups and deliveries across assigned routes
- Dispatch drivers efficiently by providing clear instructions, route updates, and real-time support
- Coordinate with clients to confirm appointment times and special requirements
- Maintain accurate records of all trips, driver logs, maintenance checks, and client communications
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and coordinate maintenance to uphold safety and operational efficiency
- Computer proficiency including use of email, calendar apps, and ability to learn specialized software.
- Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with drivers, clients, and team members
- Ability to assist riders with mobility aids and packages, and provide a steadying arm to and from the vehicle.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Valid driver’s license and no moving violations in the last 3 years, clean criminal background check required.
