Accounts Payable Clerk

Description

Our growing organization in Westbury is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accounts Payable Clerk for a temporary-to-hire opportunity. If you thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and are looking to advance your career with a dynamic company, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

+ Process vendor invoices, expense reports, and payment transactions accurately and efficiently

+ Reconcile accounts payable transactions and resolve discrepancies

+ Maintain and update files and records, both electronic and paper

+ Respond to vendor inquiries and assist with account reconciliations

+ Support month-end closing activities and assist with special projects as assigned

+ Ensure compliance with internal controls and company policies

Requirements

Qualifications:

+ Previous experience in accounts payable or relevant clerical role preferred

+ Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

+ Ability to manage multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment

+ Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel) and accounting software

+ High school diploma or equivalent required
