Full Charge Bookkeeper

Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Full Charge Bookkeeper to support day-to-day financial operations in Westbury, New York. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate records across payables, receivables, payroll, and billing while helping keep accounting processes organized and current. The ideal candidate brings strong Quick Books experience and can manage multiple bookkeeping functions with a high level of accuracy.

Responsibilities:

- Oversee the complete bookkeeping cycle, ensuring financial records are accurate, current, and properly organized.

- Process vendor invoices and payments in a timely manner while maintaining strong control over accounts payable activity.

- Manage customer invoicing, track incoming payments, and follow up on outstanding balances to support accounts receivable operations.

- Perform regular bank and account reconciliations to identify discrepancies and maintain reliable financial reporting.

- Administer payroll activities with attention to deadlines, accuracy, and compliance with established procedures.

- Prepare billing documentation, including contract-based and progressive invoicing, to support ongoing projects and client accounts.

- Generate routine financial and operational reports from Quick Books and related records for management review.

- Maintain accounting data within the Quick Books Contractor edition and support updates to financial records as needed. Requirements
