Generator Field Service Technician

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Generator Field Service Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing generators at various client sites. Your expertise will ensure our customers' power systems operate reliably and efficiently, contributing to our reputation for exceptional service and technical excellence.

• Install, commission, and test generator systems at customer locations
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections to ensure optimal generator performance
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and control system issues
• Repair and replace faulty components to restore generator functionality
• Provide technical support and guidance to clients regarding system operation and maintenance
• Document service activities, inspections, and repairs accurately in company systems
• Adhere to safety protocols and industry standards during all service activities
• Collaborate with team members and management to improve service processes and customer satisfaction

• Proven experience in generator service, maintenance, and repair
• Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills
• Knowledge of generator control systems and electrical wiring
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams
  
  Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to customer sites
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Relevant certifications such as EPA, OSHA, or manufacturer‑specific training are preferred
