Ready to join in? We are looking for a full‑time Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team. This position will be based at the outpatient rehabilitation clinic located in Park Ridge, IL. The potential candidate will play a vital role in assisting licensed physical therapists in providing high‑quality care to our patients primarily in orthopedics and post‑surgical settings. The ideal candidate should possess strong communication skills, empathy, and a passion for helping patients regain their mobility and improve their overall quality of life.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Providing exceptional patient care and services.
  • Progressing patients’ plan of care that has been established by the physical therapist.
  • Periodic written and dictated communication to physicians through progress notes and discharge summaries after consulting with supervising PT regarding patients’ plan of care.
  • Frequent communication with supervising PT regarding appropriate treatment plan, follow‑up appointments, and potential discharge for patients.
  • Supervising rehabilitation aides with patient care and administrative staff as needed.
  • Daily paperwork. All PT Assistants are responsible for documenting all treatment in patient charts and completing all written communications in a timely manner.
Education and/or Experience
  • Graduate of a Physical Therapy Assistant program.
  • Current licensure as a PTA in IL (or willingness to apply).
  • CPR Certified.
  • 1–2 years of experience preferred.
  • Energetic and a team player.
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced team environment.

Pay Range: $27–35 per hour. Compensation at MOR is determined by many factors, which may include but are not limited to, job‑related skills and level of experience, education, certifications, geographic location, market data and internal equity.
