The Registered Nurse (RN) provides direct nursing care to residents and supervises nursing assistants to ensure high-quality care in compliance with regulations. Responsibilities include planning daily activities, administering medications, documentation, and maintaining confidentiality. Performs services like catheterization, wound care, IV care, and fosters a collaborative environment. Coordinates with physicians, ensures safety protocols, and communicates effectively with residents, families, and staff.
Qualifications- Current unencumbered RN license
- Knowledge of nursing practices, laws, and regulations
- Experience in Long Term Care preferred
- Willingness to undertake additional training
- CPR and First Aid certifications
- Flexible, organized, good communication, and problem-solving skills
Includes sitting, standing, bending, walking, lifting up to 100 lbs, handling stress, and assisting during emergencies. Visual and auditory abilities required. Moderate noise level in environment.
