Family Medicine Nurse Practitioner

UChicago Medicine Advent Health has an exciting APN opportunity in our Family Medicine clinic in Westchester. This role will be part clinical and part administrative.

• 1-3 years of experience, preferred
• Must be able to work independently and in collaboration with attending Physician
• APN will see acute patients only for clinic; approximately 8 patients per day
• Administrative work to include: triage EMR inboxes, refill medications, review labs and controlled substances, etc.
• Coverage for physicians on PTO, medical leave, etc.
• EPIC Inbox management for assigned Physicians
• Annual Salary: $115K - $125K

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

REQUIRED:

• Master's degree in Nursing

LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION OR REGISTRATION

REQUIRED:

• BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Credentials are verified by local staff credentialing office.
• ACLS Certification, required
• Nurse Practitioner credentialed from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Credentials are verified by local staff credentialing office
• Drug Enforcement Admin credentialed from the Drug Enforcement Administration.
