Patient Service Coordinator; PSC - Cardiology

Position: Patient Service Coordinator (PSC) - Cardiology
Hartford Healthcare -  -  - Responsibilities:
Greet patients, answer routine questions, register patients, and maintain records and accounts to create a positive patient experience.;
Schedule patient appointments and inform patients of essential preparation requirements prior to visits (referrals, x-rays, medical reports, etc.).;
Manage high call volumes and use Epic, patient portal, appointment reminder systems, and other technologies to manage scheduling and update patient records.;
Correspond with clinical operations and providers as necessary; transfer calls to appropriate team members and handle complaints and escalations.;
Collect co-payments and explain office billing policies to patients.
