Job Summary The Patient Service Coordinator is key to creating a positive patient experience by facilitating clear communication among patients, healthcare providers, and clinical staff, ensuring smooth and efficient office operations. Serves patients by greeting them, answering routine questions, registering patients, and maintaining records and accounts. Handles a high volume of inbound and outbound calls, efficiently scheduling appointments and verifying insurances to ensure timely, accurate, friendly and clinically appropriate patient access.
Performs daily administrative and operational duties, including transcription of referrals, managing registration work queues, and maintaining work lists. Responds to incoming correspondence from patients, caregivers, healthcare providers, and beyond, in accordance with patient privacy and safety standards. This role provides coverage at other offices bringing variety to your workday and the chance to collaborate across multiple teams and communities.
High school diploma/GED equivalent, OR a minimum of 2 years customer service experience preferred 1 Year customer service experience in a fast-paced medical office preferred Epic and insurance verification experience preferred.
