Set up and operate large CNC machining centers read and interpret engineering drawings, CAD models, blueprints, GD&T and G-code while making minor program adjustments;
Determine tooling, fixtures, work holding, and machining sequences for one-off, prototype, and low-volume parts;
Perform first article inspections using micrometers, bore gauges, height gauges, calipers, and other precision tools;
Troubleshoot machining issues such as chatter, vibration, thermal growth, and dimensional variation;
Maintain machine condition through routine preventative maintenance and support engineering on machining strategy and manufacturability
