Material Handler/Service Person – Finishing
Summary of primary duties and responsibilities:
Must be trained in proper chemical handling; ensures that adequate supplies are available in the department such as plastic bags, shells and chemicals. Assists machine operator in loading and unloading machine, including inspection and cleaning of machine as required. Assists operator or inspector as necessary to insure quality and required production levels. Responsible for trash removal and housekeeping of immediate area.
Must be willing to work overtime when required.
Work schedule:
- 2nd Shift – 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM (Shift premium of $0.75)
- 3rd Shift – 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM (Shift premium of $1.20)
Pay: Up to $23.03 per hour, plus shift differential
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Ability to read and write and perform simple arithmetic.
- Frequent physical activity, including handling heavy material, pushing heavy loaded trucks and carriers, bending, stretching and pulling.
- Standing and walking on cement floors which are frequently wet.
