Stock Clerk-Per Diem

Provides appropriate bulk levels of selected inventory supplies on a scheduled basis to Medical Center cost centers.

• Performs tasks related to the accurate and timely issuance of bulk inventory supplies in accordance with predetermined delivery schedules to maintain adequate supply levels throughout the Medical Center.
• Prepares and issues bulk supplies as selected, utilizing preprinted bulk supply requisitions, documenting quantity issued, time order started and time order was completed as audited by supervisor.
• Provides accurate and timely issuance of credit for materials returned to bulk inventory.
• Audits and inspects material prior to forwarding credit requisition to data entry as observed by supervisor.
• Performs various departmental related duties as assigned by Manager to contribute to the efficient operation of the department.
• Verifies incoming materials, replenishes shelves to maintain accurate materials available for distribution, and reports variances to Quality Assurance Clerk and Manager.
• Follows established safety procedures in the performance of all duties to ensure a safe environment.
• Operates material handling equipment to include propane forklift truck and electric pallet truck in a safe manner, as identified in initial orientation with no more than 2 non‑serious violations within this evaluation period as observed by supervisor.

Graduation from high school or equivalent.

Six (6) to twelve (12) months experience replenishing stock.

Ability to operate a variety of material handling equipment. Must possess basic math skills. Knowledge of medical products desirable.
