Young Adult Ministry Coordinator
The Young Adult Ministry Coordinator at our Westerville Campus is a part-time (20 hours/week) ministry leadership position that plays a key role in helping young adults find meaningful community, grow in their faith, and take next steps in following Jesus. This person will provide relational, organizational, and administrative support for Vineyard Columbus' young adult ministry, helping create environments where young adults can build authentic relationships, deepen their faith, and engage in the life of the church.
Working closely with the Young Adult Pastor, the Young Adult Ministry Coordinator will help connect new young adults into community, support small group leaders, assist with Young Adult Night gatherings, and oversee many of the administrative systems that help the ministry operate effectively. This role combines relationship-building with practical ministry leadership, requiring someone who is passionate about young adults, enjoys developing leaders, and can bring both warmth and organization to ministry environments.
This is an exciting opportunity to invest in a growing community of young adults by helping people find belonging, develop lasting relationships, and grow as disciples of Jesus.
Vineyard Columbus exists to develop multiethnic communities of disciples who experience God, love one another, and partner with Christ to heal the world. As a church, we are committed to being a great friend to our city and to building communities that reflect Christlike unity while celebrating the diversity of our congregation and staff.
Beyond weekend services at multiple locations across Central Ohio, we serve our neighbors through the Vineyard Community Center, which provides free health clinics, food assistance, ESL classes, Value Life resources, a Counseling Center and other practical support—all opportunities to share the love of Jesus in tangible ways.
We are seeking a spiritually mature, relational, and team-oriented leader who is passionate about helping young adults experience authentic Christian community and grow in their faith. The ideal candidate enjoys meeting new people, connecting individuals into meaningful relationships, and creating environments where people feel welcomed, known, and valued.
This person is equally comfortable building relationships and managing details. They are energized by supporting ministry gatherings, coordinating volunteers, communicating with leaders, and helping create pathways for young adults to become actively engaged in community and discipleship. They thrive in collaborative settings, communicate clearly, and bring a positive, flexible attitude to ministry.
The ideal candidate is also a developer of leaders who enjoys supporting, encouraging, and equipping small group leaders and volunteers. They understand that healthy ministry happens through healthy relationships and are passionate about helping others grow in their leadership and influence.
Most importantly, this individual demonstrates a genuine love for Jesus, a commitment to personal spiritual growth, and a desire to help young adults connect more deeply with God, community, and mission.
