We are seeking an experienced and motivated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our busy Neuro Pain Management clinic in Westerville. This role supports Providers specializing in pain management for back and neuro-related conditions and is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced outpatient environment. You'll be an important part of a collaborative care team dedicated to providing timely, patient-centered care.
In this blended role, responsibilities include managing a high-volume inbox and phones, completing medication prior authorizations, supporting pain management workflows, and assisting Providers with administrative and clinical needs. When needed, you will also room patients, perform urine drug screens, and cross-train to support clinic operations. Providers see patients every 15 minutes, so strong organization, efficiency, and comfort working at a quick pace are essential.

This position provides nursing care to patients and families along the health illness continuum in diverse health care settings while collaborating with the health care team. The LPN is accountable for the practice of nursing as defined by the Ohio Board of Nursing. The LPN delegates nursing tasks to unlicensed assistive personnel (UAPs) using the criteria written in the Ohio Nurse Practice Act.
This position serves as a resource for other associates. May communicate instructions, do minor scheduling, and inspect work. Does not hire, fire, discipline, promote, demote, transfer, or appraise, but may be consulted by higher management in these areas.
Responsibilities And Duties:
- Performs initial, ongoing and functional health status assessment as applicable to the population and/or individual.
- Based on nursing diagnoses and collaborative problems, documents planned nursing interventions to achieve outcomes appropriate to patient needs including: age, size, and development stage.
- Evaluates and documents response to nursing interventions and achievement of outcomes at appropriately determined intervals; as part of a multidisciplinary team, revises plan of care based on evaluative data.
- Delegates tasks in accordance with specific criteria and state statutes.
- Actively participates in process improvement activities to achieve targeted measures of clinical quality, customer satisfaction, and financial performance.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School or GED (Required)
- BLS
- Basic Life Support
- American Heart Association, LPN
- Licensed Practical Nurse
- National Council of State Boards of Nursing
SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE
- Must hold a current license from the State of Ohio. successfully completed Ohio Board of Nursing approved medication course. Basic Life support Provider
