Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse - Nights
The Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for providing comprehensive care to patients during the labor and delivery process. This role demands clinical expertise and a compassionate approach to patient care, ensuring the safety and comfort of both mother and newborn.
Responsibilities- Monitor and assess patients during labor, including vital signs and fetal heart rate.
- Administer medications and assist with anesthetic procedures as required.
- Facilitate a safe and supportive environment for expectant mothers and their families.
- Provide education and support to patients regarding labor and delivery processes.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to deliver optimal patient care.
This position requires working the night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure- Current RN license required.
- Must pass a Trinity 10 Panel Drug Screen and Fit Test.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
- Experience in Labor and Delivery preferred but not mandatory.
This is a 13-week contract position.
