We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support daily office operations for our commercial cleaning business. This role plays a key part in recruiting new employees, onboarding new hires, preparing daily operational reports, and assisting with a variety of administrative and special projects. The ideal candidate is organized, adaptable, and comfortable working with data and people.
ResponsibilitiesRecruiting & Onboarding Support
- Post and manage job advertisements across online platforms
- Communicate with applicants and assist with interview scheduling
- Support new hire onboarding, including paperwork, orientation coordination, and system setup
- Maintain accurate employee records and files
Reporting & Administrative Duties
- Prepare and distribute daily reports related to shifts worked the previous day
- Review reports for accuracy and completeness
- Enter, update, and maintain data in spreadsheets and company systems
- Assist with scheduling updates and operational tracking as needed
General Office & Project Support
- Provide administrative support to management and operations teams
- Assist with sporadic or special projects as assigned
- Respond to emails and phone calls related to administrative needs
- Help maintain organized processes and documentation
- Previous administrative or office support experience preferred
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Comfortable working with spreadsheets, reports, and data
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in service-based industries is a plus
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets
- Familiarity with online job boards and applicant tracking systems (or willingness to learn)
- Dependable, professional, and self-motivated
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
