Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support daily office operations for our commercial cleaning business. This role plays a key part in recruiting new employees, onboarding new hires, preparing daily operational reports, and assisting with a variety of administrative and special projects. The ideal candidate is organized, adaptable, and comfortable working with data and people.

Responsibilities

Recruiting & Onboarding Support

  • Post and manage job advertisements across online platforms
  • Communicate with applicants and assist with interview scheduling
  • Support new hire onboarding, including paperwork, orientation coordination, and system setup
  • Maintain accurate employee records and files

Reporting & Administrative Duties

  • Prepare and distribute daily reports related to shifts worked the previous day
  • Review reports for accuracy and completeness
  • Enter, update, and maintain data in spreadsheets and company systems
  • Assist with scheduling updates and operational tracking as needed

General Office & Project Support

  • Provide administrative support to management and operations teams
  • Assist with sporadic or special projects as assigned
  • Respond to emails and phone calls related to administrative needs
  • Help maintain organized processes and documentation
Qualifications
  • Previous administrative or office support experience preferred
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Comfortable working with spreadsheets, reports, and data
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience in service-based industries is a plus
Skills & Competencies
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets
  • Familiarity with online job boards and applicant tracking systems (or willingness to learn)
  • Dependable, professional, and self-motivated
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
