Lead teachers coordinate daily operations, plan, present, and evaluate educational and recreational activities for childcare in a safe environment. They work directly with children and parents daily to provide quality customer service. Teachers experience a sense of accomplishment from children's participation in activities, observe children's interests to develop creative curriculum ideas, communicate with parents daily, and engage with other childcare professionals to grow in their profession.

Qualifications include an associate or bachelor's degree in early childhood education or related field, CDA preferred, 1-2 years of previous experience preferred, state-required pre-service training, ability to develop relationships and communicate effectively, ability to calmly address stressful situations, ability to lift up to 50 lbs., and meets background check eligibility.
