Substitute Teacher – Westfield Washington Schools. Substitute teachers can manage the days of the week they are available to work through an automated absence management system; the system is accessible online or via touch‑tone phone.

• Full Day: $85.00
• ½ Day (4 hours or less): $42.50
• Full Day pay rates are adjusted to $85.00 on certain days before and after breaks.
• Substitute teachers earn a bonus incentive of $70.00 for every ten full days subbed each semester.

• High School Diploma
• A substitute teacher permit or a valid Indiana teaching license
• Minimum of 21 years of age to substitute teach at Westfield High School (commensurate work experience may be substituted)
• Must obtain an Indiana teacher’s license or substitute teacher’s permit within 15 days of the hire date. The license costs $15.00 and is valid for three years. A copy of the license must be provided to the Sub Coordinator within 15 days.
